Updates and First Shorts Port from Substack

First thing’s first, I’ve ported some of the short stories I had taking up space over on Substack to here. I say “ported” rather than “moved” because they are still there, and I will likely be cross-posting in the future when I make posts here. The following have been moved (links provided):

Either way, this is showing that further overhaul of this website’s layout is required. The key issue is that selecting a given blog post, including those I’d like to keep categorized, only really reveals the header and footer. As a result, pretty much all of the site navigation, including the sidebar I’m trying to build to navigate between stories in the Short Shorts section, gets lost. It’s not something horrible, just something that takes a little time to implement.

By way of update, I haven’t been able to make too much progress on any of my projects lately, at least not by my standards. I’ve drafted full re-writes of two chapters of Long Live the Queen, and the present state of the story has me reconsidering the working title. It will likely be released under a different title with this one held in my pocket for when it may be more appropriate. There is also a battle in the draft which needs significant re-write. So, I’ve adjusted my notes and sketches of the battle plans and pattern. (Now, I just have to put that into words…)

Anyway, that’s a brief look at what’s going on here. I should also note that tax time is coming up…so, there are likely to be further delays in getting pretty much anything done.
