I don’t have long before I need to jump off to take care of some things. I’m continuing my effort to improve this website, especially navigation and professional appearance. To whit, I have added a second-level quasi-navigation bar to the Blog section of this website. This will allow you, dear viewer/user to navigate between sections of the blog. At present, only the “Blog” and “Updates” sections are functioning. The other sections, at this point, are non-functional.

The blog sections will cover the following:

• Blog: this will be posts which generally do not fit in with any other sections. It won’t be rants, short stories, or well thought-out commentaries. I won’t generally be citing sources here or anything like that. It will be nothing but generalized thoughts on topics which pique my interest.
• Updates: this is where I will try to keep rolling updates as frequently as I can remember to do them. I have a lot on my plate right now, so posting is likely to be rather sparse. Either way, if I’m planning on making changes to this website, have already made a change, and so on, then I’ll drop those changes under the “updates” category. I will also post updates on the progress of any projects I’m working on.
• Screaming Into the Void: this is more of a rant zone. If I’m covering something which is annoying to me, and that filters into the writing, then I’ll be posting it here. The logic behind the title is simple. We’re all screaming into the void because it’s the internet where nothing is real and nobody is listening. There will be both memes and insulting language here.
• Commentary: I’ll try to keep this to reasonable discussions about what piques my interest. Posts here will be rare because of how time-consuming they are likely to be. I will cite sources, where available, show graphs/charts, and so on. This section will be relegated to things which I am actually researching before talking about.
• Short Shorts: a repository for short stories and the like. Given the amount of effort which I have to work around my main efforts, posts here are likely to be rare as well. It’s still just short stories, most of them very short.
• Sneak Peeks: last, but not least, whenever I make a larger effort available to the public, such as The Aos Si’s Gift, I will post a sneak peek here. The sneak peeks will be broken down from longer chapters into several parts to make things easier on the reader. This section is reserved for what has fully passed muster, submitted for copyright, and is either already published or will be available soon.

Anyway, that roughly covers the current thrust of my efforts on the website here. I have to go for now.

In the meantime, Happy New Year to anyone who made it this far. I am looking forward to some significant, positive changes in the coming year; and, I hope, so are you…whoever you are.
